About Jed Share

I focus on capturing beauty close-up in nature and ordinary things.

In all my work, I believe in the positive power of imagery, doing my part to make the world a kinder, happier place. It’s where I’ve arrived at this stage in my journey as an artist. I want to share the beauty in the details that people often miss, to help others appreciate the magic in every day.

Growing up in New York City, and attending schools in Greenwich Village, was a wonderful opportunity to experience world-class art, live music, and the richness of a multi-cultural life. A cross-country bicycle trip as a young person taught me to appreciate all kinds of people and the simple things around us. This also showed me the vast beauty and diversity that is America.

The experience of eight years of working as a photographer in Japan, along with international on-location projects worldwide, has had a profound effect on my outlook and approach to work and life; you can see & feel the wabi sabi influence in the Nature Close-Up & Industrial Abstract galleries.

It will be my great joy to share this with you.
